I have tried to subscribe to the religious news feeds for all the major papers I could find. Not all of them offer one. It had the jazzy cover with pictures of happy young men and women (black and white). And, the title emboldened in fancy lettering - "Good News for Modern Man". It was a book I wanted to read. And I did. By the time I discovered it was a Bible, I was hooked. In today's fast-paced world where we spend less than 5 seconds deciding whether to attend/focus/read/reflect on any object, packaging counts for a lot. I'm personally grateful the Bible industry has caught on to this. I remember when the “Today’s English Version” came out in the 70s.
