Five years!

My amazing wife and I have been married for five years today. What adventure it has been. And with our first baby on the way . . . the adventure continues!

From a very new reader of your blog: Congratulations! And from a mama of a toddler: Parenthood will be amazing and rewarding, but get all the sleep you can now. :)

Patrick! Congrats on both counts … my 21st anniversary was yesterday. Once you have children the time simply flies by and somehow stands still all at once. I’m not certain how that is, but it is.

I have a fourteen year old daughter and as we sat in a restaurant the other day a young couple came in with their little girl, who looked to be about 1o months old. Suddenly I could not account for the time between when my daughter was that age and now. I don’t know what happened to it. Yet I’ll bet she’s the most photographed child ever.

Oh well … that’s the long way of saying, your life is about to get very adventurous in the most mundane ways. Congratulations on 5 great years and here’s to many more adventursome years as a family!!

Thanks, y’all! Especially Amy, you’re very welcome on my blog. I’m glad to have you :) Looks like you’re starting an interesting experience yourself (your new blog, that is).
