Steph Should Blog

Mark Goodacre raises a good point, and Jim seconds, that biblioblogging’s most ubiquitously commenting non-blogger should get a blog already! In a custom search through biblioblogs for “steph,” one receives 166 different results, nearly all of which point to the same person. In terms of polemics, she sure would give even Jim a run for his money, and then perhaps making her a contender to take on Jim for the top biblioblogging spot. (People who “speak their mind” with passion tend to get more traffic.) Whether or not you agree with her, she sure would add a little bit more fireworks among biblioblogs.

It’s very easy. Go to wordpress.com. Look at the right hand side: “Express yourself. Start a blog.” Click on the big orange “sign up now” button. Give yourself a username and password and choose your “theme.”

Now you are ready to post. Click on the tab “New Post.” In the first box input your cat’s name. Then, right below, click on the square box next to where it says “Upload/Insert”. Click Select files. Find and click on a picture of your beautiful cat. Click “Open.” Once it finishes “crunching” click “insert into post.”

Under the picture type in “Jim West would love cats if he ever met this one.”

Select the text “Jim West” in your sentence. Click on the little box with a chain link in it. Under in the box where it says link URL type “http://jwest.wordpress.com/”

    Click “insert.”

    Voila, your blog is launched.

Let me know if you need any more help. ;-)
