Actually, I have never felt competent to write about the Bible or Biblical studies: I took Bible courses in seminary, of course, but was so in awe of the work that goes into Bible interpretation that I decided to focus on Church History instead.

But I am pleased to find this resource and will be having a look at several of these blogs. I actually did not get to take any classes with Robert Jewett, though I do remember him!

Hi Lainie! Welcome :)

Sorry bout the spelling error, I got that fixed.

I'm glad to get the word out about biblioblogging to the uninitiated. Let me know, or let others know, if you think of any bloggers you think might be interested in joining biblioblogging conversations! And, of course, with two degrees from Garrett, I'm sure you've got plenty interesting things to say about biblical studies yourself.

Did you do anything with Jewett while you were there? He's amazing.

Hi Patrick!

Thanks for devoting your time to this issue and the link back to my blog. JFYI, my last name is spelled "PetersEn".

As for the rest, I was, and am unfamiliar with Bibliobloggers, but now that I have discovered the site, I am intrigued and will be investigating! In any case, my comments were intended to address the larger problem of women not having a stronger voice in the evangelical blogosphere.

Glad to be able to make your acquaintance!
